OPTIMIZATIONS IN JURY CASE SUBMISSION PROCESS
Our jury case submission process was one of the topics that gained the most feedback from our community during the first edition of the European Affiliate Awards last year. A lot of you mentioned to us that the process was too short and that the communication was not perfect. We agree! So, for this years edition, we decided to change the process.
What will change? Bottom line: the submission period will be longer, and the submission form will be much more complete and in detail. This will provide you with a longer period to get your case(s) together, and will also provide you with more/better opportunities to pitch your case.
- Early bird case submission: this year, you can already start to submit cases from the 1st of February, during our early bird submission period that will last until the end of April. During this phase, submitting cases will cost € 149,- per case.
- Late case submission: on May the 1st, we start with our late submission period, that will last until the end of June. So, in total you iwll ave 4 months to register your case(s). During the late submission phase, costs will be € 199,- per case.
- Shortlist announcement: the shortlists for all jury categories, will be announced once the jury has been able to filter through all the submitted cases. We expect to announce the shortlist per category mid/end of July.
- Jury verdict: during the month of August, the jury will further review all the shortlisted contenders, to decide who will win the awards. Those are presented during the event in September in Berlin.
To clarify: this case submission period is only applicable to the jury rated award categories. Our Top-50 Professionals, which is a category in which winners are decided by public vote, does not follow this timeline. Longlist nomination for the Top-50 will also start in February, and we will announce the longlist and start public voting for the Top-50 by the end of June or beginning of July.
